Tottenham have seen their chances of signing Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon increase as the youngster does not want to leave London. That news will come as a blow to Manchester United who had been hoping to sign the winger, 18, who is out of contract in the summer.Sessegnon is wanted by Spurs1
Sessegnon is wanted by Spurs
Fulham have been trying to tie the talented teenager down to a new contract, but have been unable to reach an agreement with the player, who is also wanted by French giants Paris Saint-Germain.Tottenham are now favourites to sign Sessegnon , and the Mirror say they are preparing an offer believed to be in the region of 50million.If Spurs succeed in bringing him on board, it would be their first new signing for two transfer windows. It is claimed Tottenham could look to buy Sessegnon but loan him back to Fulham for the 2019/20 campaign. It is highly likely Fulham will be playing their football in the Championship next season, as they are 13 points adrift of safety with only seven matches remaining.Last season, Sessegnon was vital in helping Fulham earn promotion to the Premier League, but this season has only managed to show glimpses of his potential, netting twice in 29 appearances in all competitions.
