On the international stage, England boss Gareth Southgate was saddened by racial abuse aimed at Danny Rose and Raheem Sterling during a 5-1 win at Montenegro in March.And despite the incidents in Serie A during the season, Ranieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport: The racism you hear in stadiums is just something very silly to mock, in a very, very stupid way, a lad whose skin colour is not as light.Its silliness. I dont think there is real racism in stadiums, or at least its only a very small part of it. Ranieri was named Roma boss until the end of the season in March after being sacked by Fulham.He added: Ive had a lot of fun.Coaching the squad of the town where you were born, where you cheered them on from the stands, in the Curva, in away games, its different to anything else.
